Amritha Mohanachandran Nair Lathakumari

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of experience, including the past 2 years practicing in Canada. I’m certified in Gestalt Language Processing and love using play-based therapy to connect with my clients. I also have a special interest in fluency therapy and speech sound disorders. My sessions are all about following the child’s lead—because that’s where the magic happens. I fully believe that messy therapy rooms mean we are having fun and learning along the way.

Cody is a certified Communicative Disorders Assistant as well as a OCT-certified teacher in the Primary/Junior division. She has experience teaching abroad in both England and China. In addition to her work with Speech Avenue/All Avenues, Cody currently works as a homeroom teacher at a special education focused private school.

Lai Fan (Lucie) Lo

Lucie Lo is a passionate and dedicated speech-language pathologist registered with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She has extensive experience supporting children across a range of areas, including articulation, language development, social communication, literacy, and feeding.

Since graduating in 2018, Lucie has brought her skills and warmth to children and families in Hong Kong, Macau, and Toronto. Early in her career, she gained valuable international experience before continuing her professional journey in Canada, where she also worked as a speech-language pathology assistant while completing the CASLPO registration process. Her work at a charity serving autistic children sparked a deep commitment to supporting the autism community. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, Lucie embraces the unique strengths of autistic individuals and works collaboratively with families to address social communication and sensory needs with compassion and respect.

Lucie’s therapy style is client-centered, play-based, and responsive to each child’s individuality. She values children’s interests and tailors her sessions to create engaging, meaningful, and effective learning experiences. She celebrates every effort and achievement, recognizing that growth looks different for every child. Collaboration with families, educators, and other professionals is a cornerstone of her approach to help each child reach their fullest communication potential.

Lucie provides services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Committed to continuous learning, she has pursued additional training in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, the Introduction to PROMPT, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, and the Inside Out Sensory Certificate

Course for SLPs. With a deep love for working with children and a strong belief in their abilities, Lucie is dedicated to empowering young communicators and their families.

I’m Luiza Busareva, a Communicative Disorders Assistant with a background in Early Childhood Education. I have experience supporting young children in both clinical and childcare settings. I specialize in helping children develop their articulation, language, and overall communication skills through engaging, play-based sessions. My approach is child-centered — I follow their lead, build on their interests, and create a supportive environment where they feel confident to express themselves. I’m passionate about fostering meaningful interactions and love watching each child grow in their own unique way.

Leila Farah is a Bachelor in Speech-Language Pathology graduate from Pontificia Universidade Católica of São Paulo, Brazil, Language Specialist, and Master in Sciences – field Speech and Language Pathology from Universidade Federal of São Paulo, Brazil.

She is a Canadian Citizen, residing in Toronto since 2014, with High Distinction Diploma in Community Service Work from CITI College, Toronto, and Communication Skills for Human Services Course: Child/Youth Settings from Seneca College, Toronto.

Along 36 years, has worked as clinician attending children, youth, adults, and seniors with speech and language disorders, mainly Autism.

Leila acts as SLPA at Speech Avenue / All Avenues, attending in English and Portuguese. Also works as Special Need Educator at a Public School in Toronto, with Hard Hearing children.

Dona Rachel George

Instructor Therapist & Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Dona is a passionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant and an Instructor Therapist at Speech Avenues with a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology(India) and a Post-graduate diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science.

Dona has experience in working specifically with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is able to implement treatment goals with fun and motivating activities individualized to clients. She has worked with children with ASD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and various clientele providing  intervention plans to speech, language and fluency disorders.

She is compassionate and energetic with children and able to build a wonderful rapport with each child to initiate maximum output for developing speech and language skills.

Dona has also worked in adult speech and language rehabilitation-post stroke supporting adults with aphasia, apraxia, voice and feeding disorders.

She has profound knowledge and experience  in the principles of Applied behavioural Analysis(ABA) and implementing behavioural modification and individualized treatment plan to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders.

Asfia Naseem​

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant​

After the completion of her Bachelors in Speech and Language Pathology in Pakistan, Asfia worked as a Speech and Language Pathologist in Pakistan for a period of 7 years. In Canada, Asfia is practising as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant under the supervision of a Canadian certified Speech Language Pathologist.

Asfia worked at a hospital clinic as well as a private pediatric setup. She worked with a diverse group of children between the ages of 2-12 years presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hearing Impairment, Speech Sound Disorder, Speech and/or Language Delay, Stuttering and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Asfia applied evidence based practice, utilized planned therapy procedures and ensured dynamic assessments for monitoring therapy outcomes.

Asfia is OPT Level 1 trained (Oral Placement Therapy) for motor-speech disorders and provides services in English and Urdu.

Sasha is a Speech Language Pathologist who completed her Masters of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology at the University of Alberta.

She has worked with adults who have had a stroke and adults with Parkinson’s Disease, and has provided services related to dysarthria, aphasia, and apraxia. She also has experience working with children in school boards and preschool speech and language programs, providing services related to articulation, language, motor speech disorders and fluency.

Krupa Tomy

Krupa is a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist with over seven years of experience in the field. She holds a Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Mangalore University, India, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science from Niagara College, Ontario, Canada.

Krupa began her career as an assistant professor and has since worked extensively with children presenting a wide range of speech and language disorders. She is a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA)-trained therapist and is committed to using evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming approaches that support meaningful and functional communication.

Krupa is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and provides services in English and Malayalam. Her warm, family-centered approach makes her a trusted partner for parents and caregivers seeking to empower their children through communication.

Alice Wong

Alice is a Speech-Language Pathologist with eight years of experience supporting individuals with communication needs in both Hong Kong and Canada. She is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). 

Alice has worked with children with autism, language delays, articulation difficulties, and developmental disabilities. She is trained in TalkTools Level 1 OralPlacement Therapy and LEGO®-based Therapy (Bricks for Autism). 

Alice is committed to client-centred care, working closely with families to create meaningful, personalized therapy goals. She focuses on functionalcommunication, helping children express themselves effectively in everyday situations, at home, school, and in the community. 

She provides services in English and Cantonese, and is conversant in Mandarin.

Vincent Wong

Vincent is a Communicative Disorders Assistant who is passionate about the field of speech and language therapy. Vincent attended the University of Toronto where he received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Mental Health and Linguistics. After completing university, Vincent also received a Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate at Durham College.

Vincent is enthusiastic about the field of communication disorders and enjoys working with pre-school and school age children. In his experience, he has worked closely with children who have special needs including autism, gestalt language learners, and those with delayed speech. Regarding communicative areas, he has experience working on articulation, language, and multi-modal communication (i.e., Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Vincent works closely alongside members of the family, to foster meaningful outcomes, and is an advocate for the family-centred model approach.

Vincent provides services in English and is conversant in Cantonese.

Au Hing Yee (Natalie)

Worked as an enthusiastic Speech Therapist for more than 10 years in Hong Kong, Natalie serves as a SLPA at Speech Avenue. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. 

Natalie has extensive knowledge and training in providing evidence-based practice to pre-school and school-aged children with speech, language and communication needs. She has professional certifications in Hanen Programs ® (It Takes Two to Talk, More than Words, Learning Language and Loving it), PROMPT for motor speech disorders and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). She is also trained in Baby Signs, Social Stories, Social Cognition and Floortime.

Shruti Khanna

Dedicated Behavior Therapist with a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis and a passion for supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Shruti earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Maharaja Sayajirao University in India, where she gained valuable experience in the field before transitioning to Canada.

After immigrating, Shruti pursued a Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioral Sciences from Durham College, followed by a Postgraduate Degree in Behavior Science Technician from George Brown College. This educational journey has equipped Shruti with advanced skills in implementing effective ABA techniques and developing individualized treatment plans.

With experience as a Supervised Behaviour Therapist in various settings, Shruti emphasises collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support. They are committed to adapting interventions based on ongoing assessment and evaluation to meet the unique needs of each client.

Outside of professional responsibilities, Shruti enjoys hiking, traveling, and engaging in creative crafts. These interests not only enrich their personal life but also enhance their ability to connect with clients and foster a supportive environment.

Bawan is a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behaviour Analyst® (BCBA®) with several years of experience working with children and youth with ASD and other developmental disabilities. She is a graduate from Western University with a Masters of Professional Education with field specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis and the University of Waterloo with a Joint Honours Bachelor of Science double major in biomedical science and psychology. Bawan has a variety of experience implementing evidence-based interventions in the home, clinic and community settings. Outside of the office, Bawan enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
